CDI units are difficult to diagnose. Generally, if your outboard has a spark problem and has symptoms such as misfiring, dead cylinders, backfiring, not firing at all, etc... then you want to first check your battery (if applicable), your spark plugs, and your ignition coil(s). If the issue isn't any of these, the CDI unit is a likely culprit.

Our flat rate shipping is USPS Priority which is 2-3 business days to most of the U.S. UPS Next Day and Second Day Air is available during checkout if you need it quicker.

Standard shipping is via the U.S. Postal Service. UPS Next Day and Second Day Air are available during checkout if you need it quicker. UPS Ground is also available.
Warranty
All of our items come with an industry leading 8 month warranty! This warranty covers any unit defects that are causing the item not to work properly. It does not cover any damage that occurred to the item while in the customers possession.
Extended Warranties
Any extended warranty purchase is added on to our 8 month warranty. So, if you purchase a 2 Year Extended Warranty, you are covered for 2 years and 8 months!
Returns
All of our items come with a 30 day return period. If the item received damage during shipping please note with the shipping company and contact us to resolve the problem. If you simply wish to return the item because you don't need it or it was the wrong one - you can ship it back for a full refund of the items cost. Details are located here.
